No other candidate in Ward 1 has the longevity in this community, the proven commitment, and the business experience and governance skills to help run this city.
Sandy’s accomplishments are many:
- chairing the board of the $2.5 billion First Ontario Credit Union
- helping to secure funding for innovative businesses like the Mustard Seed
- authoring the first Women and Poverty Report for Hamilton
- receiving the Women of Distinction Award.
She has a solid record of getting things done, working for organizations that put people first: the Worker Education Centre, the Social Planning and Research Council and the United Way.
Sandy is running on a platform of sustainable and balanced growth, opportunity for youth and affordable neighbourhoods. She is caring, compassionate and committed. She’s the kind of fresh new face we need on council.
